Foodies

Foodies is a local weekend food preorder app for Mountain House, California. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.

Information We Collect

When you create an account or place an order, we may collect:

• Name, email address, city, and phone number if you choose to provide it.
• Firebase account identifiers needed for login and account security.
• Food orders, item quantities, restaurants, pickup slots, order totals, tax, payment status, and order status.
• Feedback messages, ratings, and related order references when you submit feedback.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage your Foodies account.
• Submit and track weekend food preorder requests. Phone number is optional and may be used only if you provide it for order support.
• Coordinate order payment status, pickup status, pickup time, and pickup address.
• Respond to support requests and improve the app experience.
• Maintain security, prevent misuse, and support basic business records.

Payments

Foodies does not process card payments in the app. Payment instructions may be shown for Zelle payments after order submission. Do not include sensitive bank information in feedback messages.

Service Providers

We use Firebase services from Google for authentication, database storage, cloud functions, hosting, and related app operations.

Tracking and Advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies. The app does not currently include third-party advertising tracking.

Data Retention

We keep account, order, and feedback information as long as needed to operate the app, fulfill orders, support users, maintain business records, and comply with applicable obligations.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion inside the Foodies app from Account. Account deletion removes your login and profile information. Past order records may be retained without your personal contact details when needed for business records.

Children

Foodies is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
